Alice Knibbs 

1881-1975

Alice KNIBBS was the wife of Joseph William KNIBBS who was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England in 1874. She was born Alice SMITH in about 1881 in Poplar, London, England.

Alice and William had nine children altogether with the latter two being twins. The children pictured here with Alice are the twins Florence Elsie on the left and her brother Frank Leslie James aged at around 18-24 months, so we estimate that the picture was taken in 1917/18
