Edwin KNIBBS

Late 1800's

Edwin was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England in 1901, the 8th of 12 children born to his parents Charles KNIBBS and Hannah Elizabeth SMALLWOOD. He had 10 sisters and one brother.

He was a Fire Warden in Birmingham during WWII. He's pictured here in the back garden of his house at 71 Monica Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, wearing his uniform, no doubt ready to set off on his motor cycle.
