Marriage Notes for Frank Ball MARKS\Martha Ball KNIBBS:

From the Baldwinsville Gazette Farmers Journal, October 23rd, 1884.
MARKS - KNIBBS - At the residence of the bride's parents, 66 North Third street, Troy, N.Y., by Dr. Irvin, on Wednesday evening, Oct. 15th, 1884, Frank B. Marks and Mattie B. Knibbs.
By the above announcement the public are informed of the happy event that has come to gladden the life of our foreman in the Gazette office. Marks has been a faithful boy, and we are confident that the estimable lady he has take for his "better half" will lighten his cares, give sunshine to his home and make him even more faithful and successful than before. That this may be so is the fraternal wish of the boys in this office, from the editor down to the "imp" at the roller.
They had a very pleasant party at the reception at Mrs. C. E. Hood's Thursday evening, when the happy greetings, sincere congratulations and pleasant interchange of social conversation made it an occasion of the highest enjoyment. The many presents were mementoes of the esteem of their friends, and were very nice, varied and appropriate. We join in the wish of their numerous friends - that their lives may be long, prosperous and happy.

- Howard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Marks, died at their home in Sayre, Pa., April 20, after and illness of only half an hour, aged two years and nine months. The little fellow had been apparently in the enjoyment of perfect health until shortly before his death. It is a sad blow to his parents, and old friends of Mr. Marks here deeply sympathise with him in his loss. It is thought that the child ate some poisonous weed or substances found out of doors, convulsions followed causing death.
