I'm not quite sure when John died because there are two deaths of a John Gammage recorded in the Woodstock District which is where they were living. One died in 1852 and the other in 1856.

I'm not sure of the circumstances at the moment, but Henry's daughter Susan (a.k.a. Sadie) ended up in Victoria, British Columbia, where she married a man named Henry James Collins on 16 November, 1912.
Henry was from Black Heath, England.
They had three children: Doris Mary, Eric James and Clarence Charles.
