Thomas KNIBBS, son of Francis KNIBBS and Avis BATES , was born 28 May 1770. He married Hannah WELLS 05 August 1790 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He died 01 July 1822 in Holywell, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Hannah WELLS was born 1758. She died 04 March 1831.

I believe it was this Thomas Knibbs referred to in Jackson's Oxford journal on 16th February, 1810:
Notice to Debtors and Creditors.
Thomas Knibbs, of Deddington, in the county of Oxford, girth web weaver, having, by indentures bearing date the Fifth and Sixth days of February, 1810, assigned and conveyed his estate of Effects to Edward Grimmet, of Sibford, in the said county of Oxford, yarn manufacturer, and Edward Hatten, of Deddington, aforesaid, innkeeper, in Trust for the benefit of themselves, and others, the Creditors of the said Thomas Knibbs, Notice is hereby given, That the Deeds are left at the office of Messrs. Churchill and Field, solicitors,
Deddington, Oxon, for the signature and such of the Creditors as will execute the same within one month from the date thereof, and accept the amount of the estate and Effects, in proportion to the discharge of their respective debts; and such of the Creditors as shall neglect to execute the same Deeds, within the above time, will be excluded al benefit thereof.
All persons indebted to the said Thomas Knibbs are desired to pay their respective debts to one of the
Trustees, or to Messrs, Churchill and Field, Forthwith.
16th February, 1810

TO CREDITORS AND DEBTORS
ALL persons having any claim or demand on the Estate and Effects of THOMAS KNIBBS, late of Holywell, Oxford, gardener, deceased, are requested to send in their accounts immediately to Mr. Joseph Knibbs, cordwainer, or to Mr. John Hastings, grocer, the administrators : and all persons who may bw indebted to the Estate of the said Thomas, Knibbs, deceased, are desired forthwith to pay the amount of their respective debts to the said Joseph Knibbs or John Hastings.
