Percy William Foster (17), Edward Knibbs (12), and Thomas Knibbs (9), all of Braunstonn, were summoned for placing a number of stones on the roadway, Braunston-hill, to the danger of persons travelling thereon, at Braunston, on October 18, 1929.

KNIBBS Thomas (Tom) Formally of Begbroke. Passed away peacefully 7th March 2011 at Stonehaven Residential Home Quading, Lincs. Aged 91. Husband of the late Roma and a very special and much
loved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral will take place at Boston Crematorium on Thursday 17th March 2011 at 1.20pm.

Wedding of Miss Stella Cole
Pretty Scene at Abingdon
The wedding took place at Abington Church, Northampton, of Mr. Geoffrey Noel Stanton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. William Stanton, of Sheffield, and Miss Stella Eveline Cole, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cole, of Quagga Port, 9, Broadmeadavenue. Northampton.
Canon A. Claude Davis conducted the service, and Mr. F. J. Morley was at the organ. The hymns were "Lead us, Heavenly Father," and "O Perfect Love." Mendelssohn’s Wedding March was played.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of heavy white satin cut on classical lines. The neck line was high, and her long train was fastened at the back with buttons. The long sleeves came to a point at the wrists, and the veil was held by a headdress of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of Madonna lilies.
The bridesmaids were Miss Lou Stones (Sheffield), Miss Cecilia Ellis and Roma Reed, friends of the bride and bridegroom.
The dresses of Miss Stones and Miss Ellis were of white organdie with red and blue piping. They wore headdresses and sashes to match, and carried bouquets of red and white carnations. Roma Reed wore a red spotted organdie dress in Victorian style with a Juliet cap of net to match her sash at the waist. She carried a Victorian posy.
Mr. Cyril Snape, of Sheffield, a friend of the bridegroom, was best man.
The dress of the bride's mother was of rust marocain with a hat to match. The bridegroom's mother was unable to attend owing to indisposition.
A reception was held at the Cafe, which about 40 guests attended. When Mr. and Mrs. Stanton left on their honeymoon in the North of England, the bride wore navy blue tweed tailor-made costume with a hat and shoes to match. Their future residence will be in Sheffield.
The bride gave the bridegroom a gold signet ring and she received from him a reading lamp.


Roma, then aged 16, is stood front centre, carrying the small posy.

HORSESHOES FOR BRIDES THREE WEDDINGS DAVENTRY
The wedding took place at the Daventry Parish Church on Saturday of Sidney Herbert Robinson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Robinsdon of Sheaf-street. Daventry, and Miss Elizabeth Thompson, only Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson of Norton-road, Daventry, The service was conducted by the rector, Canon J. Winter.
The bride who was given away by her father, was attired in a dress of light blue, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The bridesmaids were Miss Roma Reed (niece of the bridegroom) and Miss Margaret Thompson (niece of the bride). The first-named bridemaid wore a bracelet and the latter a ????, gifts of the bridegroom. Mr. Norman Robinson (nephew of the bridegroom) was best man.

SUNG Euchanst was celebrated in St Margaret's Church by the Rev Philip Street. Mr D Hemstock was organist and read the lesson. Mr Norman Featherstone received the collection. The church flowers had been given in memory of Mrs Roma Knibbs by Mr and Mrs G Gomer.
