Elizabeth Fanny ALEXANDER was born 13 September 1904 in Uxbridge District, London, Middlesex, England. She died 30 June 1989 in Bodmin District, Cornwall, England.

I'm 100% sure from the 1911 census that Arthur was the grandchld of James and Matilda Knibbs. However, I'm not sure if he was the son of son of Mary Ann Knibbs or her sister Martha.

We see from records made available form the Royal Household, that from May 1911, Arthur was employed as a gardener at Windsor Royal Gardens. The records also tell us that on 26 January, 1915 (so, aged 17 years), he enlisted to serve as a Gunner in the Royal Field Artillery and served in Mesopotamia in the Middle East and India.

We see Arthur and Elizabeth living at 4 Trafalgar Nelson Road, Windsor, Berkshire, at the time of the 1939 Register. The register also lists him as a Special Constable in the Berkshire Police Force.
