Yesterday afternoon Charles Blanco, employed in Kelly & KnowIson's machine shop, while shifting a belt on some shafting, caught his shirt beneath the belt and it was completely torn from his body. His undershirt was served in a similar manner, and his arm would have been wrapped around the shaft but for the Intervention of Joseph Knibbs who pushed the belt aside.
