From the Tacoma Times, June 10, 1893:
George J. Osgood, of this city, and Miss Helen Knibbs, of Des Moines, Iowa, were married at the Congregational church in San Francisco, by Rev. Dr. C. O. Brown, who was formerly pastor of the First Congregational church in this city.

From the Aberdeen Daily News, June 8, 1893:
Beautiful engraved cards have been received in this city announcing the marriage at San Francisco on June 1st of Miss Helen Knibbs to Mr. Geo, Osgood of Tacoma. After an extended wedding trip through the southern and western states, Mr. and Mrs. Osgood will return to Tacoma, Wash., where Mr. Osgood is in business. The bride's many Aberdeen friends join with the Daily News in wishing her and her life partner a life of unallowed happiness.

Notes for George Joseph OSGOOD:

George is the son of George Root Osgood from Rutland, Vermont,1840-1934, and his wife Caroline Storrs from Eaton, New York, 1839-1930.

I'm pretty sure it's this George we see in 1900, living at ED 164 Precinct 1 Tacoma city Ward 2, Pierce, Washington:
George Osgood Head Mar 31 Iowa
Hellen Osgood Wife Mar 28 Wisconsin
George H Osgood Son 6 Washington
Robert S Osgood Son 1 Washington
Agnes Lindstrom Servant 15 Washington

In 1910, we see George living at Chehalis, Lewis, Washington with his wife and sons:
George J Osgood Head Mar 39 Iowa
Helen Osgood Wife Mar 36 Wisconsin
Laddie Osgood Son 15 Washington
Robert Osgood Son 11 Washington

I suspect it's George who we see named as Laddie.

On 9 Jul 1911, we see Robert, Helen and son Robert arriving at the port of Quebec aboard the Empress of Britain, which set sail from Liverpool, England.

Our gratitude goes to the members and volunteers at Find A Grave web site for recording the details, in memory of George.

Notes for Helen Blodgett KNIBBS:

Also known as: Nettie or Nellie

The History of the City of Portage, Columbia County tells us that Kathrina Mary Knibbs and her sister Helen Blodgett Knibbs both graduated from the Portage High School in 1878.
Under the careful management of teachers and officials, the class of '78 were very encouraging and satisfactory. The graduates were Mary Ellen Borden, Rachael Ann Buttery, Joseph Francis Gallagher, Loa Brown Kennan, Kathrina Mary Knibbs, Thurlow Wheeler Maine, Isabella Jane O'Neill, Lillie Elenor Schneider, James Horace Wells, Susy F. Whitelaw, Grant Robinson Bennett, James Alfred Cole, Martha Ann Karch, Helen Blodgett Knibbs, Bennet R. Lewis, Bernard Joseph McMahon, Louis Oscar Pfaff, Fred Jackson Turner and Susan Elizabeth Wells.

This is where we found the middle Christian name of "Blodgett".

From the Milwaukee State register, (Portage, WI) July 06, 1878:

The High School Graduating Exercises.
The graduating exercises of the High School, were held at the Court House, on Friday afternoon, June 28th, and were decidedly creditable to the graduates and principal.
.......The essay of Helen B Knibbs, on "Amusements" was eminently sensible. The speaker seemed to have a bad cold and was not distinctly heard in all parts of the room..........

Helen appears in the Des Moines Directory 1889-1891 with the following entry
Name: Helen Knibbs

In 1920, Helen was living at Precinct 20 Santa Barbara City, Santa Barbara:

On 21 Dec 1929, we see Helen sailing from Wilmington, California aboard the ship SS Calawaii, bound for Honolulu.
Helen Osgood 58 Wid , born 28 Jun 1871 at Mineral Point, Wisconsin

Whilst she was identified as a widow, I suspect she may well have been divorced.

On 1 Feb 1930, We see Helen arriving at the port of Wilmington, California aboard S.S. Calawaii from Honolulu. She was listed on the Passenger List as a Widow, aged 58, born on 28 Jun 1871 at Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Her address in the US was given as Santa Barbara, California.

I believe George married twice.

His first wife Erma could be seen as a divorcee, living at Ward 1, Tacoma, Pierce, Washington:

George died aged 48 years 11 months 29 days. His death certificate shows that he was married to a lady named Lillian V Osgood. His mother's name was given as Helen Knibbs.
