Terrence M. Harmon
October 13, 1999, of Cheektowaga, NY; husband of Susan (nee Knibbs); dearest father of Edward, Michael and Terrence Jr.; son of George and the late Kathleen; step-son of Lucille; son-in-law of Mary; brother of Thomas (Nancy) and Virginia (Christopher) Fix; survived by an aunt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd). Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at St. Lawrence Church, 1520 East Delavan at 10 AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Terrence was a member of Boiler Makers Local #7 for 20 Years.

Terry was a boilermaker by trade and was sent to work within a giant tank that was supposed to have be cleaned out beforehand. When Terry stuck the light of the torch, the tank exploded and Terry was thrown and hurt badly. As a result, he had five surgeries on his back and many other medical problems. His injuries were devastating and left him in a wheel chair for some time. He remained on high doses of pain medication. An autopsy revealed that the doses that the doctors prescribed were way too much and for too extended a time, contributing to a fatal heart attack. His death took everyone by surprise.

Loving Grandmother of Genevieve, Brice, Briella, and Blake. Dear sister of Debra Richter, Malinda Knibbs, Kim (Joe) Jagodzinski, Vicki (Mark) Bojanowski, Robert (Jennifer) Knibbs and the late Ronald Knibbs. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at The Buszka Funeral Home, Inc., 2085 Union Rd., West Seneca, Friday from 6-7 PM at which time a Funeral Service will be held.
