Miss Beatrice Knibbs, daughter of Mrs. Wesley Kinbbs of Coppermine Road, Unionville. and the late Mr. Knibbs and Josph La-Pointe, formerly of Island Pond, Vt , were married Saturday, Aug 18. at St Mary's Church. The Rev John Phelan performed the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of blue nylon and a corsage of pink and white Roses. They were attended by Mr and Mrs. Bruce of Terryville. A wedding breakfast at the Farmington House, followed the ceremony A reception was held in the afternoon at the home of Mr and Mrs Gilbert Tibbetts on Lovely Street, Avon
Mr and Mrs LaPointe will make their hoime at 42 Mohawk Drive, Unionville. Both Mr. and Mrs. LaPointe are employed at Chas. W. House and Sons Inc. Guests were present from Torrington, Terryville, Bristol and Unionville.

MAYETTE. Mrs. Beatrice (Knibbs) Mayette, 94, of Colt Highway, Farmington, formerly of Bristol, widow of Mr. A. Fred Mayette, died Sunday (June 11, 1995). Born in Unionville, May 12, 1901, daughter of the late Joseph W. and Mary (Wetherby) Knibbs. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Knibbs Smith of Avon; a sister-in-law, Edna Gleason Knibbs of Unionville; several neices and nephews, grandneices and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held today, 2 p.m., at the Ahern Funeral Home, 111
