Mrs Margaret Seville was installed worthy matron of the Leland Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. at a ceremony in the Chapter Room Tuessay evening
Mrs Lois Knibbs of Verona was installing officer, Mrs. Ruth Beardsley of Sheridan, installing marshal and Mrs: Dorothy Miller, installing chaplin, They were escorted into the chapter room by William Passow, Dr. A . J. Tegner, and C. R. Decker. Mrs. Marion Wormeland organist furnished appropriate music and Miss Florence Decker sang. Other officers being installed were Harold Seville. worthy patron, Daidee Augustine. associate matron, Ferne Decker, secretary, Mary Stevens, treasurer. Odella Halverson, conductress; Clarice Decker, associate conductress, Florence Decker. chaplain, Mae Johnson, marshal. Elma Seville, organist. Carleta Greene. Adah, Dorothy Miller, Ruth, Daisy Legner. Esther. Jaretta Parsow, Martha, Marfagaret McCoskey, Electa, Edna Olson, warder and C. R. Decker. sentinel.
At the close of the ceremony Mrs. Knibbs sang. "The End of a Perfect, Day" The retirmg worthy matron, Mrs Margaret McCaskey and retiring worthy patron, H T, McCaskey were presented Past Officers jewels,
A reception followed with refreshments served from a beautifully decorated table in the dining room.
Visitors were present from Verona, Mazon and Sheridan.
A regular meeting will be held next Tuesday, Dec. 10 and school of Instructiin on January 3 .
