Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Knibbs of Chicago. Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter Catherine E. to A-J/C Phillip W. Hutchins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hutchins, former residents of Hillsdale, now of 440 E.Chicago road, Coldwater.
A-J/C Hutchins was home on leave from Keesler AFB, Miss. where he is training as morse intercept operator to graduate in August, when the engagement was told at a family dinner. The wedding will be in August.

Airman 2/C and Mrs. Phillip W. Hutchins announce the arrival of Michael Glenn Hutchins on Monday, August 24. Stationed with the Air Force in Darmstadt, Germany, Mrs. Hutchins is the former Catherine Knibbs. Her twin sister, Carole Jeanne Knibbs will fly to Germany on September 27 for an extended visit. Proud grandparents of Michael Glenn are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Albert of Gaylord and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hutchins of Five Lakes and Coldwater, Michigan.

Phillip was the son of Wendell and Chloris (Center) Hutchins.

Defiance, Ohio; Phillip W. HUTCHINS, 44, died June 15, 1989, at the Defiance Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Jackson, Mich., a son of Wendell and Chloris (CENTER) HUTCHINS.
On July 26, 1969, he married Peggy PHILLIPS.
He was a service support specialist for 13 years with the National Guard, Defiance.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Michael HUTCHINS, Chicago, Ill., and Richard EDWARDS, Defiance; three daughters, Joan HUTCHINS, Chicago, Mrs. Ray (Connie) KRONTZ, Defiance, and Mrs. Rex (Vickie) VOGLESONG, Mark CENTER; four grandchildren; two brothers, David HUTCHINS, Cambridge, Mich., and Roger HUTCHINS, Sturgis; and one sister, Nancy PHILLIPS.
Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and all day Sunday at the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, where services are at 11 a.m. Monday. The Revs. James Eldridge and James Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Knibbs, 3411 W. 66th pi., were presented with twin daughters, Carole Jeanne and Catherine Elaine, who weighed four pounds, 12 ounces and five pounds, seven ounces, respectively, at birth.


Catherine was known to be living at Advance, North Carolina, USA in March 2004 when she signed the Guest Book on the KNIBBS Family web site. She was the owner of Reichel's Bread Basket which was a bakery that was establish in about 1974. She retired from the business in 2005.

December 8, 1926 ~ February 19, 2017 (age 90):
Frederick L Reichle of Wallkill, formerly of Walden passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at home surrounded by his family. He was 90.
The youngest son of Frederick L Reichle and Karoline Rasmussen, Fred served in the Army from 1945 to 1947 acheiving rank of Tech Sargent with the 52nd Signal Battalion.
He was the owner and operator of Fred Reichle Excavating until 1969 and then started Fred Reichle Diesel, which is still in operation today. He retired in 1991.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed the annual fishing trips to Canada and annual hunting trips to the shack above Kaaterskill Falls.
Fred was also very involved with Walden Little League, Allards Corners Busy Boys 4-H Club, as a member of the Shawangunk Reformed Church and as an Elder of the Walden Reformed Church.
He was married to Vanita Doolittle. He is survived by children: Lisa Reichle, Fred Reichle (Eileen), Leslie Masker (Levi) and Charlie Reichle (Marianne); grandchildren: Alfie Ford and son Alex, Karoline Ford and daughter Leslie, Jamie Ford, Danielle Stroop (Brook) and sons Kaigan, Keegan, daughter Keara, Levi Masker (Lindsay), Jacob Masker (Kristin), Kathryn Masker, Amanda Reichle and son Seth and Charlie Reichle.
After Vanita passed, Fred married June Smith. He is survived by her four children and their families.
He was predeceased by his brother Julien and sisters Trine Bennett, Kathryn Knibbs and Olive Poradish. He is survived by sister Frances Roux.
Dad enjoyed his neighbors and his dear friends Dave and Trudi Sumstead. He leaves behind his Shih Tzu and loyal companion Fred-Lee.
Fred was a loving, generous father who always adored his entire family. He will be missed and never forgotten.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5-8 pm. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY. Rev. James O'Connell will officiate.
Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
