Alfred married Isabella Emma Parmenter Jones on 30 December 1912 at Canning-Town, Essex, England. Alfred and Isabella had a son named Alfred William, born 7 Nov 1913 and baptised 19 Dec 1913 at Holy Trinity, Canning Town, Essex, England. They also had two daughters, Evelyn M, b.q1/1916, and Doris I, b.q4/1916.

On 19 March 1919, Alfred William Frogley, Lighterman born 1882, was admitted to the workhouse in the parish of Poplar , London, classified as Insane. He was discharged on the 26 March that same year to the the London County Lunatic Asylum at Claybury, Essex.

Alfred died in June that same year, aged just 36.

Isabella emigrated to New Zealand in October 1919 with her three childrfen, and later married a man named James Sims. There were two other's Joneses on the same boat and from the same address in Plaistow. They were Elizabeth Emma Harriet Jones (Age 58) and Georgina Adelaide Jones (age 20) I suspect these were Isabella's mother and sister.
